Bible Promises

 

Salvation: Salvation means we receive eternal life as we have a personal relationship with God.

 "For by grace are you saved through faith. Eph. 2:8

 

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be save." Acts 16:31

Eternal Security: Saved Forever - Spending eternity with the loving Creator.

 

"I give unto My sheep eternal life."  John 10:28

 

"I will put you in the cleft of the rock." Exodus 33:23

 

HappinessBeing in fellowship with God always brings contentment and happiness.

 

"Happy are they that hear the Word of God and do it."  

Luke 11:28

 

"Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord." Psalm 33:12

 

 

 

Rebound: Getting back into fellowship with God.

 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin."   1 John 1:9

 

"But if we judge ourselves rightly, we should not be judged.  1 Cor. 11:31

 

 Grace:  GRACE = God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.

 “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9

 

His grace provides forgiveness and makes us right with God (justified).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Obedience: Obedience is a result of loving God.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart." Deut. 6:5

 

"Honor your father and mother." Exodus 20:12

 

 

Faith Rest: In whom do I put my faith? Christ Alone

 

"We walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Cor. 5:7

 

"God keeps His promises."

2 Pet. 3:9

 

Encouragement:  For your encouragement, remember God isn’t finished with any of us yet.

 "When I pray, You answer me, and encourage me by giving me the strength I need." Psalm 138:3

"So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though the going is rough for a while down here." 1Peter 1:6

 

 

 

Love:  The whole purpose for living is to love God and others.

 

 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

"This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12

Thankfulness:  Just start looking around you and start counting the ways to be thankful. 

“Always give thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:21

 

 “Oh Lord, thank you so much for answering my prayer and saving me.” Psalm 118:21

Patience: Many times human patience is developed through hardships.

 "For when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow." James 1:3

"Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love." Ephesians 4:2

 

Anxiety: Anxiety is worry and worry doesn't accomplish anything.

 "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. Philippians 4:6

 "Let Him have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you." I Peter 5:7
