God's help

Genesis 18:14

     "Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son."

What's the Big Idea??

"Is anything too hard for the Lord? Genesis 18:14

Think of it this way:

     What if a asked a toddler to reach up and take a coin off the top of my head? I would guess that it would be almost impossible for that child to reach from their position on the floor to the top of my head. I would say that it was a pretty hopeless situation for them.

     I can easily reach up and get the coin off my head. It would be nothing for me because I am bigger than that toddler and it is within easy reach of my hands. It's not hopeless for me. If the child would ask me to get the coin for them, I could do it without any trouble at all.

     It is the same sort of thing with God. When we run into problems that are too big for us to handle and things see, to be pretty hopeless, we can always turn to God for help. God is much greater than any of us. If we ask Him for help, He will do what is best for us.

     Remember, the next time something is bothering you and you do not know what to do, God is always there to help you if you will only ask and believe.
