Mercy

Mercy: Exodus 33:19 I will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will show compassion.

     The true definition of mercy is found in God. It is kindness, love and compassion toward us. Mercy focuses upon all that God does not give to the miserable sinner which he does deserve [such as God’s wrath, punishment, eternal death, hell, etc...

      God is gracious to the believing sinner in freely giving to Him the gift of Christ and all that comes with the gift of His Son , all of which he does not deserve. God is merciful to the believing sinner in that He has withheld His judgment and wrath upon him, all of which the sinner justly deserves.

Romans 8:32  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
